Remember you told me how 2 groove n’ enjoy.
Remember the red cold nose.
Remember when vodkas gave me a high.
Remember the times I froze.
Remember the mumb days I couldn't handle.
Remember how you'd crack me up and joke.
Remember how you made it seem so natural.
Remember how with ‘pitti pitti’ you'd poke.
Remember the times you praised my words.
Remember with courage you filled me up, each time.
Remember you read my poetry by rule.
Remember how you convinced I'd shine.
Remember the mouth-watering tiramisu.
Remember the exclusive dine.
Remember ‘there's no cover charge for awesomeness’.
Remember the city ride, so fine.
Remember I couldn't get my eyes off dat dress.
Remember you said I should try.
Remember I was a bit apprehensive.
Remember when you said it’s perfect, there were no more whys.
For all the strength and smiles you gifted me,
For all those memories, up n’ close.
Today, I want to thank you back 4 it all.
For you really are d best friend I hold!

This Sunday morning I slept like a log
This Sunday morning I stumbled upon your blog!
Hi Sneha
Good Afternoon.
I stumbled upon your blog and was pleasantly surprised in a strange kinda way coz you pen poems in the same way I like to...[see the poem Tell Me at the end of this mail] Of course, I'm not as prolific as you are...
Being a copywriter was my dream profession although I ended up being a CA (creative artist) trapped in a CAs (chartered accountants) body:(
Your blog is very nice and simple and your interests in creativity and writing have made me send this mail/comment.
I am about to start a dream writing project and am looking for input from complete strangers coz it guarantees objectivity.
I will be delighted if you have the time and inclination to communicate further.
P.S. About the COVER CHARGE for you poems I hope its also payable thru poetry.
You can write to me at vynesblog@gmail.com

Tell Me
Tell Me about the silly joke that made you laugh
Tell Me about the funny face you made
Tell Me about the fight you had
Tell Me about everything that makes you mad
Tell Me every little secret you kept
Tell Me about every single time you wept
Tell Me about the lucky rain drop that fell on your face
Tell Me how you feel on bright sunny days
Tell Me about the one who stole your heart
Tell Me about the one who tore you apart
Tell Me everything I want to hear
Tell Me everything I cannot but fear
All of THIS:
it is preparation for waling in this world
as Light.
YOU have been found now,
and the running of many lifetimes
is Over.
So as each layer of Dust
is wiped clean
from the Surface,
The YOU you have known,
MUST disperse.
Let this Light
become your Speech & Silence.
let the grief
that has lived you
pass way.
let the people
who love you,
Love themselves.
let the Earth Shake
the stars burn
the skies break
when You do
As painful
as this part is
you were MEANT
to know your Light!
